2010 Conference Letter

Greetings, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:

Dear beloved brothers and sisters I pray this letter finds each of you well and filled with the grace and loving favor of our Sovereign God.
This letter is to encourage each of you to register early for the 27th meeting of the Sovereign Grace Bible Conference here in Chattanooga, TN. It is imperative that you do so, for we are attempting to make your time and your accommodations pleasing and full of Christian hospitality. It is our desire that all who attend leave refreshed in God’s preached and taught word along with warm Christian love and fellowship.

Also I urge all pastors, churches and even individual brothers and sisters to send all conference financial gifts of support as soon as you are able. Of course every penny will be used for conference expenses.

Pray with us that the transition from Lexington to Chattanooga this year will go smoothly. It is my personal prayer that this Conference remains a strong preaching, teaching and worshipping conference. We must strive to have Jesus at the center of all we do and that He and His glory must be our chief and ultimate goal.

The saints here are so excited to greet and serve each of you in the love of Christ our Lord. Also enclosed is the week’s itinerary, please note that minor changes may occur and if so your patience would be deeply appreciated.

Pray for Dr. Sharon Brown and her workers as they seek to be a blessing to our young people during the “YES” conference sessions. I have received warm words of encouragement from many of you and they are greatly appreciated as I seek to lead this conference with God glorifying dignity and honor.

I know this God-given vision of my dearly departed pastor and our conference founder, Elder D. J. Ward will live on and lives will be blessed for years to come as we rally around the truth of God’s Holy and infallible word. May the Lord bless each of you and I pray it is His will that we come together in August.
